Internals

iPhone 5 comes loaded with the A6 processor which is two times faster than the previous A5. The device speakers have shrunk down to 20%.

Wireless

Another amazing feature in the iPhone 5 is its support for the 4G LTE. 4G on the new iPhone supports upto 100Mbps. With 4G on the new iPhone, I’m sure the HD videos/audios will go on stream much faster than the 3G.

Wifi now has two bands: 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz, so I guess the Wifi will work much finer than the previous models, rest assured the signals stay there.

Camera

The new iPhone 5 comes loaded with a 28 megapixel iSight camera which can now shoot in panorama mode, enabling you to easily take picture of wide landscapes.

The front facing camera is also improved; now it can shoot at 720p. you can check out some of the photos taken from the iPhone 5′s camera here

Battery

The battery has also been improved, and it can give upto 8 hours of battery life on 4G LTE.

Lightning Port

The iPhone 5 also has a new smaller dock connector, named Lightning by Apple.

The new Lightning dock connector features: 80% smaller than the previous 30-pin connector, an adaptive interface, more durable, and can be plugged in to the device in any orientation.

Accessories

With the introduction of new Lightning dock connector, all previous accessories don’t seem to work, but wait, Apple have solution for this – which is dock connector converter named Lightning to 30-pin Adapter – which will allow you to use your older accessories as well.

It is important to note that all older accessories are compatible with the iPhone 5, excluding cases and sleeves.

Also a new addition to the box is an all-new earphones called EarPods.

Nano-SIM

The iPhone 5 uses a new type of SIM card known as the Nano-SIM. So those users who have the skills to cut their normal SIM to a Micro-SIM will be disappointed to know that the Nano-SIM card is completely different for the Micro-SIM, and thus it cannot be made at home. So you’ll have to get a new SIM card from your carrier, which is compatible with the iPhone 5.

Price

Pricing is the same as for previous models. The 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models cost $199, $299, and $399 respectively with a two-year contract from AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. The iPhone 5 will be available both Black and White colors.

Availability

The new iPhone 5′s pre-orders are scheduled to start on September 14th and will ship on September 21st. From September 14th the iPhone lovers in the following countries will be able to pre-order their brand new phone, these countries include: United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore. It will be launched in more countries on September 28th. And by December, it will be available in more than 100 countries around the globe.

Finally the iPhone 5 has been announced to public. It’s much of the same as seen in the number of leaks that we have been seeing before. The design is much of a new look with that metal back.

Design

The general shape of the new iPhone 5 is the same as the previous iPhone 4/4S, except the metal band at the back. The biggest difference that we see is the increased display size and aluminum + glass back. iPhone 5 features a widescreen 4-inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 with a pixel density of 326PPI.

Also the headphone jack has been moved to the bottom of the phone alongside the redesigned connector.

Display

A 4-inch Retina Display screen with 44% more color saturation than any previous iPhone.

Hardware

iPhone 5 weighs just 112 grams, and is 22% lighter than the iPhone 4S and is the thinnest smartphone to date with a depth of 7.6mm.

Unlike the previous models, iPhone 5 glass is two toned, with glass at the very top and bottom on the back side, but other than that there’s all metal in between the glass.

Apple continues with the same old “Home Button” at the bottom center beneath the screen. Same volume buttons on the left-hand side, along with the  mute/unmute switch.

The all new iPhone 5 is already buzzing with speculation. Will the new iPhone 5 be a complete redesign? Yes! The current Apple iPhone release wasn't much to rave about, although people do really like Siri, the personal assistant. However, the new iPhone 5 is going to have some amazing new hardware and features like 3D video and pictures, newly designed keyboards and 4G speeds to name a few! This is made possible by the new A6 processor which will also be featured in the iPad 3.

This phone is going to be loaded with awesome new features like video chat on 3g and 4g (no longer restricted to WiFi only), face recognition and extreme downloading with 4G. (List of possible features below). The new iPhone 5 features are speculated, but have been well received by the public and will typically follow suit based on previous releases and their features.
This new iPhone 5 will be equipped with a two A5 chip processors, much like the iPhone 4s and higher more powerful graphic chips that can deliver higher video resolutions (5-9 times better and 7 times faster) and amazing "still" images when taking pictures, AND it will make multi-tasking a lot faster, in addition to adding support for 4G speeds. There is a possibility it could contain the new A6 processor instead. It will also have a 4 inch screen making it larger and on par with most android phones. The processor will have speeds at 1.5 - 2.0 GHz and 1GB of RAM. Obviously the new iPhone 5 will have iMessage, iOS5 or the new iOS6 software, iCloud and all the standard features of the iPhone 4S, including Siri the personal assistant. These improvements alone will be healthy competition for the newly released Samsung Galaxy S II and the Google Nexus phone.
Apple recently filed several patent applications in order to bring 3D picture capturing to the iPhone 5. This phone will be capable of rendering, capturing and processing 3D images, which coincides with the recent changes to the dual-camera hardware. The new iPhone 5 will also be capable of taking pictures in Panorama!
The new iPhone 5 will boast 4G also known as LTE (Long Term Evolution) speeds, according to AT&T which is due to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) which is in line with the most recent technology standards for mobile networks.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 4S, a faster version of its best-selling smartphone that includes a virtual "personal assistant" you can talk to. And now, Apple will release the iPhone 5, which looks promising in terms of being sleek, packed with new hardware and finally less restrictions. Very exciting! SIM-Less Phone - Basically, the iPhone 5 will be a World Phone. This is accomplished building 2 to 3 internal antennas which makes it capable of GSM and CDMA technology, so you can take the phone to any network!
